Comenius project focusing on assessment for learning (AFL)

Syfte

Holte lower secondary school is seeking European partners for a Comenius partnership project focusing on assessment for learning (AFL). The objective of the project is to improve and further develop our schools strategies and methods of AFL through the exchange of experiences between the schools and peer evaluation. The target group are pupils aged 12-16.

Målsättningar

The objective of the project is to improve and further develop our schools' strategies and methods of AFL through the exchange of experiences between the schools and peer evaluation. Special emphasis will be put on:

  • How the pupils are involved in the procedures
  • How the methods could improve the pupils awareness of learning

Projektaktiviteter

The project will focus on the following phases:

  • Information: Exchange of information about respective national school systems, information about chosen strategies for AFL and how pupils are involved.
  • Best practice: Exchange of experience on the chosen strategies for assessment and pupil involvement in assessment procedures.
  • Evaluation: Assessment of strengths and weaknesses of the different models. Possible recommendation on how the models can be improved. A special focus will be on how pupils are involved in the process.
